What God says about the sugar daddy and sugar mama situation in South Africa and the World

Living life as it pleases to one is most desirable but there are rules and the law that all people must observe no matter their status. Rules above every rule that every person should work at observing are those put by God the creator. Failing to observe Gog’s commandments is sin and sin is voluntarily going against God’s will. Sin is defined as a practice that leads to death (Romans 6:23) and the Bible defines death not only as physical death but also damnation to eternal hell fire. This is the second death as defined by the book of Revelation 21:8; “The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Before I loose many readers, at this point I need to move on to the next section. My point is on the increasing promiscous behavior of people engaging in sexual activities for financial gain in a very informal manner. In this case, this is between people of a huge age gab where one person abuses the other for selfish gain while not realising that they themselves are being abused. This is the ‘sugar mama’ and ‘sugar daddy’ sagga.

Who cares what God says?

God has said many things which people have disobeyed and continue to disobey without even caring that it is against His will. They dont care because they have not seen any consequence of their sinful practice in a long time. They possibly have observed others around doing the same and living their lives happily without any ‘God-like punishiment’ for their sins, at least as defined by the world.

Before I pick solutions from God’s words, I want to reveal to the people that practice this that their offense is not only to the law or the rightful partner whose spouse is being cheated on but it is also an offense to God. God who has power to punish both the body and soul in hell (Matthew 10:28), whom everyone should only fear.

Below I list two reasons (one reasons would be good enough) why this practice is an offense to God:

1. No person should engage in sex before marriage. 1 Corinthians 7:2 says, ‘But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.’ Then verse 9 says, ‘But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.’
2. Marriage should be honored. Hebrews 13:4, ‘Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.’ Whenever you engage in a sexual activity with someone you are not legally married to, you are exposing yourself to God’s judgement.

Should a person die while involved in this practice, their destinity is erternal death which should be taken seriously. I have written so many articles about hell in this blog and there are a lot more in the internet. I wish I had a way of unveiling the reality of hell and that just a glimpse of it would derter these people from this practice.

What is the solution?

Getting closer and enquiring from God is the solution. Do not trust people’s advise because they are human like you and may also be trapped in the same sin without you knowing it. You may seek advice but the best asdvise comes directly from God. In the next section I will known ways by which God speaks and you can get your answer in any of these ways.

Philipians 4:6 says, ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.’

This verse can be likened to a situation where you hire a lawyer to represent you in the court of law. It works best for you if your lawyer knows the truth and only the truth about your case.

Remember that there is no reason that can justify anyone to commit sin. There could be earthly acceptable reasons but that is not the case with God. God does not change, whenever He says something is wrong, it is just as He has said.

How does God speak or respond?

God speaks to His people in any of each or combination the following:

1. The conscious.
2. The Word of God, which is the Holy Bible.
3. God speaks to people through dreams and visions.
4. God speaks through other people.
5. God sends His angels to guide us sometimes.

Conclusion

My role is this, ‘to warn people about the wrath of God that will befall all children of disobediance’ (Colosians 3:6). I wash my hands and the blood of offenders shall not be counted on me (Ezekiel 3:18). The ball is in your court now that you know.
