God is not like man in thought and in deed

I have seen that some Muslims and Jehovah’s Witnesses that they don’t understand that God is not human. They make a mistake of taking God to the human mind level and try to reason what He says in human terms.

Muslims questions the Bible a lot, in different ways and they are able to quote the Bible to suite their argument. I have seen this on youtube.com a lot. One time I tried to speak to one Muslim that runs a shop around the corner in town, trying to introduce Jesus to him, but he just couldn’t let me.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are also people amongst us that often stand on the streets to share their beliefs. I have spoken to some on the streets and some that I work with and realised that they also think God thinks like a man. They twisted the Bible to suite their thinking of how God should have written the Bible. They have their own book that they use instead of the Bible.

I met this old man on the street on this one particular day and he told me that I can use this book instead of the Bible. I then took it and opened to Leviticus 29:29, which a very important verse for the subject of hidden things that man cannot understand. It was not as recorded in scripture. First the old man said that I’m misquoting the Bible and then we tried Leviticus in his book but there was no Chapter 29.

Deuteronomy 29:29 is the answer to the controversy of the hidden things that has led many to think for God, twisting the truth to suit their interests. I believe that both Muslims and Jehovah’s Witnesses as well as other none Christian religions, and sadly some Christians too, just cannot accept some of the Bible verses on what God promises, what He commands for man to do and what is happening in the world today.

I therefore want to affirm that God is not man and therefore has the following qualities:

1. He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). God spoke and He still speaks even today and whatever He says it shall be as He wants it to be. The Word of God never alters, not even slightly (Psalms 119:89, Matthew 24:35). I know that even some Christians have been tempted to alter the Word and their doing is not going to be overlooked by God. Some Christian leaders have turned the Gospel into business, forgetting that Jesus said to His disciples, whom they claim to be, ‘…freely you have received, freely give’ (Matthew 10:7). There are many other things that Christ professing Christians do yet these things are against God’s will.
2. He does not think like a man. God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:25). It is therefore a useless toil trying to reason what God has said. There is not interface in human wisdom and God’s thinking. The link is broken. It is thus safer for man to accept God’s word as is and do as He commands.
3. He is sovereign. For as long as God is in the throne, what He says shall be. When you wilfully ignore His will, how will you escape His wrath because as long as He reigns you will be under His command? If you go to hell as He has said, you will remain there for as long as He is in the throne. For your own information, God remains on the throne for eternity.

Eternity is not easy to comprehend while we are in this life but it is what it shall be when we die. We shall be able to fully comprehend eternity the very minute we die. Sadly it will be too late to reconsider the Word of God that you have been disputing because time to amend your ways is before we die. I tell you, ‘eternity is too long to be wrong’.

I tell you this that there won’t be any reason to blame God because He has given us tools to understand His thinking and yet we still ignore them and want our ways. I want to tell you that Satan is at work when you question the Bible, it could be the whole world doing it but it won’t change His Word. Even when everybody in the world would reject Jesus Christ, all the living would go to hell. Don’t think that because about a third of the world population are Muslims then it is the right religion. The same would apply for Jehovah’s Witnesses or any other religion.

Think about this. This is your life we are talking about. When you stand before God you will be on your own. No Muslim leader will be there to defend you but it will be you and the Word that has been preached to you and you decided to wilfully ignore.
