He appears to those that diligently seek Him – Some have seen GOD!

God the Father 12God is alive and He truly appears to those that seek Him. The belief of Christians and of this blog is that God is in three, ‘God the Father, God the Holy Spirit and God the Son’. Therefore, when I say God appears to those that seek Him, I mean He can appear in any of the three forms or a combination of two or all.

God is not dumb neither is He deaf. He speaks through the Bible but He also can speak audibly if He chooses to. He can speak through sings from people, nature and your conscious. He can direct you to your answer because He is in full control of the world and all its operations.

The internet has lots of testimonies of people that confess having seen, heard and spoke to God in return. Later I will share with you a link of one person that was caught between being an eithist and believing the existence of God, whom God appeared to. First let me go to the Bible, the New Testament, and pick a few instances where God appeared to the living and spoke a Word. I shall reference the New Testament for the reason that the Old Testament has countless encounters with God and it does seem to be an old time report. It is easier to relate to New Testament times because it is our time. Furthermore, I will not reference instances during Jesus’ time while on earth but when He had already been crucified.

Amongst those to who Jesus appeared, I will reference the eleven disciples, Saul who later became Paul, Peter, and John the Revelator.

Appearance to Mary Magdalen

The risen Jesus was not believed to have come to life again (Mark 16:11), even though the stone that covered His tomb had been physically rolled to the side. First Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene out of who He had cast seven demons (Mark 16:9).

Appearance to the eleven disciples

In the same chapter but in verse 14, Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples. That is when He gave them the great commission, which has been extended to us, His disciples in our time. Jesus said, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’ Verse 15 NKJV.

Appearance to Saul

In Acts 9: 1 – 19, Jesus appeared to Saul saying, ‘…. Why are you persecuting Me?’ This marked the turnaround of Saul’s life and later he was named Paul. This man did many wonders for the Kingdom. I encourage you to read about him in the Bible.

Appearance to Peter

In Acts 10: 13, Jesus appears to Peter telling him thus, ‘Rise, Peter; kill and eat’. Peter knew that this was the Lord Jesus Christ but he still resisted the instruction. Jesus that continued in verse 15, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common’.

Appearance to John in his revelation

Revelation

The book of Revelation is about John’s encounter with Jesus Christ in the Island of Patmos. Right from the first chapter, John relates how he met with Jesus that showed Him everything in the vision and gave instructions for the churches. In Revelation 1: 11, Jesus speaks out for Himself. You are welcome to read the whole chapter or even the whole book because there is a blessing in reading the book of Revelation.

The Bible in Mark 16:11 says that people did not believe that He had shown Himself alive. This is what people choose to do even when Jesus has appeared to many people at different times in different parts of the world. Even today, many will choose not to believe this article.

In our time, Jesus still does appear to at least to those that diligently seek Him. He can appear to as many as pleases and for any circumstance He chooses. This is to say that He can appear for His own purpose and not necessarily for the person that wants and encounter with Him.

Our Generation Encounters

The world today continues to get testimonies from people that affirmatively say they have seen God, His angels and Jesus. Some are not Christians such as Muslims. You may link to a lot of testimonies by Muslims’ encounter with God. The website is Muslimtestimony.com.

A general comment from Yahoo! Answers tells a similar story.  I quote…

I saw GOD with Jesus. Did any one else have close encounter?

I went through a month of prayers and semi-fasting. I didn’t know if I wanted to become an atheist. Sure enough Jesus appeared with a talking light. I’ve got all my questions answered and now I am religious and I know which one is the real one. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s hard to believe that God cares enough to show up here at my house.

Update: God can do anything he likes.

Update 2: This has nothing to do with hallucinations people.

If you wonder if GOD exist. The answer is YES.

You can deny, you can call me a nutjob, you can say I am hallucinating, … say it all.

The fact remains the same. GOD was here and GOD is everywhere. GOD is our father.

I therefore implore those that detest Christianity to given themselves time to search in prayer and in diligence. There really is no need to bad mouth something you have not given yourself time to confirm its credits.

You know your position on Christianity and I don’t want to mention religions and cults. Why don’t you try Jesus and let Him prove Himself in your life. He is more than ready in our days to manifest Himself in your life than before. I know this for a fact. He has promised to raise the standard in our time.

Be blessed.
