Can a person be saved by living an upright life? Not at all. But the grace of God of salvation is open for all people and not only the Jews. Note that this grace is not specifically for other things like prosperity, healing or everything else but salvation. Getting these through grace is not bad at all but the grace is mainly for salvation. One thing about salvation is that it is an eternal blessing unlike all other blessings that perish or remain on earth when people die.
Salvation is a free gift and not from personal effort. All people that will inherit heaven will be through God’s grace. However, the grace of God urges to orders your life steps such that you live a holy life. The grace of God trains us to live a life that God wants; to deny ungodliness but have self control. This means that things you used to do and feel not condemned, you no longer feel comfortable to do because the grace within you condemns these things. Even if the urge may still be there, but you control yourself not to fall into it. Sad as it may sound but it is also true that if you do not obey the grace that speaks to you through your conscious and the Word of God (Holy Bible), you will loose your salvation.
Those that want to live under the guidance of God’s grace should know that the world we live in is largely an unfavorable environment. Around us are people that live any how; none God fearing people. Material things around us open doors to ungodliness. There are things that are wrong that we have gotten so much used to such that they no longer are considered wrong yet before God they still are sin / wrong. Thank God that the grace lives within us and continuously give instructions and guidance as you live your life at all times.
I would have loved to have a longer article but this from Pastor Msane’s teaching for the day, this is all I can conclude. I like it that this article is fit for helping someone that need this much coverage on the grace of God. If you do understand Zulu, SiSwati or Ndebele, you are welcome to listen watch our videos on YouTube in this page (click).
