If it sin to wear a make-up, why then do we wear shoes?

Modest dressing upI believe that wearing make-up and any artificial attachments life finger nails, weave and lipstick is not acceptable to God as I have already written two articles on this subject already. The articles are the following:

  1. Is make-up, lipstick, hair dye, make up and all artificial attachments an abomination to God?
  2. Is it sin for woman to wear trousers, weave and make up?

How to know you are about to die

Death is Real

Dying for your Christian Faith

Death is one thing every living person should not have a question about except for one – when will it happen? Ecclesiastes 9:5 confirms this obvious fact. Needless to argue about it, we are all on an impending death list. However, it is normal and expected for the old to die first. Just as Isaac of old prepared himself by blessing his son timely because he clearly knew he wouldn’t live forever but knew just from understanding his age  (Genesis 27:2). Probably he was close to the 180 years which the Bible records were the actual years he lived in this world.

Is it God or the devil who tells the time to die?

Death is Real

Dying for your Christian Faith

People die in in their numbers every minute and apparently that is the way it is. There are even calculated estimates on the number of deaths around the world. There is a website by the name worldbirthsanddeaths.com that simulates the number of deaths and I really believe it indicates a close to accurate global occurrence of deaths.

Why does some sickness remain stubborn to prayer even after fasting?

sicknessDid you know that sometimes even after long time prayers have been made over some sickness or disease, healing may still not come? Does it then mean that God is not willing to heal us from such sickness? Sometimes such instances break your faith and doubts come to mind as to whether God exists in His trinity at all. You tend to ask yourself questions as to whether Jesus is willing to heal you or not.

Some people who had faith in Jesus to heal their sicknesses, their relatives’ sicknesses and their loved ones got a shock of their lives when those people prayed for never recovered but kept suffering and some ended up dead. I know a brother who even gave up Christianity because he prayed so much for his mother to recover from some sickness but she did not and to die at the end of it all.

Dreaming of dead loved ones, Rebuke that spirit

Dream!Whenever you dream of dead loved ones you must know that the devil is paying you a visit and he will take it from your reaction what he should do. The dead are gone and soon they are forgotten (Ecclesiastes 9:5). This verse confirms that they had their share of this life and they never shall come back to this life, instead the living shall join them on the other side because the living know that they will die. David once said that he know very well that he will be joining his late son but not him coming back to him (2 Samuel 12:23). Isaiah 26:14 in the NLT translation says, “…their departed spirit will not return!”

Where do dreams come from?

Attainment of Salvation is a Must

Heaven for the SavedThe word salvation comes from the word save. Christians claim to be saved but really is such salvation guaranteed? Not at all, only the ones that endure to the end shall be saved (Matthew 24:23). Until then, nobody is saved yet it’s an acceptable claim to be saved because it is a process of working out one’s salvation.

Working out your salvation involves a lot of things but it can be summed up to keeping God’s commandments to the best of you capability. Solomon of old wrote that the entire duty of man is to fear God and keep His commands (Eccl. 12:13). The act of working out your salvation can be termed ‘living a holy life’, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
