Jesus Christ values children and they are beautiful beyond measure before Him. Some people think of children as valueless, stupid, non-deserving of special attention and useless. Surprisingly, Jesus Christ himself honours and shows respect for children. He likes it when children participate in church. It is not a requirement for children to wait until adulthood to participate in the body of Christ. Therefore, it is a big mistake not to value children.

The prayer that every living person should say is ‘Open my eyes, so that I may see the wonderful truths in your law’. In the book of Psalms, this prayer is an individual prayer by David. In this instance, the Psalm is a prayer. However, sometimes a Psalm can be for praising the Lord.

All living people should pray this prayer because it is relevant and required even today. David was speaking to God (verse 4) after having identified the weakness in his eyes. The writer, David, is not praying this prayer for other people but for himself. David’s prayer supports the notion that the issue between man and God is first personal and thereafter one can sort issues with people. Furthermore, it is good practice for people to deal with issues one-on-one with God.

Trusting in the Lord for taking decisions and overcoming troubles of life is the sole solution. You must trust God because He alone is trust worthy. Trusting means relying entirely upon the Lord’s Word and promises as revealed in Scripture. Trust is demonstrated by a child that does not doubt its parents when holding it. The child does not ever anticipate that the parent may drop him / her.

This message of trusting in the Lord is for everyone that does not want to live a confused life but live under God’s wisdom. The message is also for every living people, young and old. One should not rely on his or her own or other people’s knowledge because human knowledge is always wanting. Human insights are never enough. You are a witness that people often declare situations as hopeless even when before God there still is a solution. Curing HIV/Aids is an example of illness that the world over has declared incurable yet before God no illness cannot be cured. It is amazing that God has made it possible for scientists to invent Anti-Retroviral Drugs (ARVs). ARVs are not good enough, however, God’s time will come when HIV/Aids will be history. Similarly, several important couples have received their miracles in conceiving while doctors and experience had declared no success.

Judgement is surely an event that shall not be missed, not even by a single living or any that ever lived. The living still have a chance to prepare for the coming of the Lord. Both the Old and the New Testament talks about the judgement day. People must note that when the Bible says anything, that thing shall surely come to pass. Many may quote that the Bible has long said that Jesus Christ will return for the Church but even today He has not showed up, forgetting that the Word does not state the date and time. Therefore, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is surely coming.

Paul in the reference scripture emphasis the fact that both the dead and the living shall not miss the judgement. It is not yet over because a fearful day still awaits the dead; they shall all be raised to face the judgement. First, the triumphed shall sound and the dead shall rise and everyone shall who ever lived shall face judgement. When He, Christ the Lord, returns for the Church, the living Christians shall be transformed but non-believers will not be transformed because they await eternal torment in hell. The living are better because they still have a chance to repent but the dead hear nothing and can do nothing to change their situation. For the death, judgement has already been set.

Ready or not, end times shall come, according to God’s Holy Bible. Jesus Christ tells of the parable of the 10 virgins of which 5 were wise (not clever) and 5 were foolish. Wise people do not run after events, they are not reactive but proactive. The wise are likened to the people that are ready for the end times and the foolish are likened to those that are not ready. End times shall be marked by the coming back of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church. He surely shall come and the ready shall meet Him in the sky.

People in the world are in two; those that believe Jesus Christ shall come back for the church and those that don’t. Those that do not believe His coming forget one thing that the Lord never forgets to fulfil His promises. The Holy Bible informs us that the first festive will be the Holy Communion in the clouds, as Jesus Christ promised His disciples. Believers are awaiting these promises.

The Bible tells us in Romans 13: 7 that we have to pay all dues to respective beneficiaries. You’ll be surprised to learn that dept is not only about money or cash, but respect and hour can sum up to debt.

To be Holly, you must return all the things that are not called by your name to their owners. It could be big things such as cars, investments, and property as well as small things such as books, cells, pens and staples. Unfortunately, that’s the standard God has set for those of us that want to enter Heaven and see Him face to face.

There are common small sins that people tend to ignore, yet the Word of God is so pure and perfect, good enough to be the mirror for Christians from anywhere in the world. in fact, there is nothing like small sins because before God sin is simply going against His will. I want to focus on such sins that are common amongst Christians. I will mention a few of the things that are common “small sins” that will stop many from entering eternal rest after death.

The theme of this website is to emphasize on holiness. If the Word says “…without Holiness, no man shall see God”, it means just that. The devil always deceive believers that God is so merciful and will understand the hardships we face here on earth and compromise his standards. Sorry, heaven is unfortunately not cheap.

The subject on pornography as well as masturbation in very controversial in the Christian fraternity. Some pastors and well know advocates for Christianity have  confessed to participating in these sexual sin; particularly when they repent of these sins. Kirk Franklin is one know Gospel artist that confesed having been bound in sin of watching pornograpy. Inevitably therefore, some Christians do watch / participate in pornography and many others do masturbate and the big question is whether these two should be heard-off from Christians or not. Believe me, ‘non-believers know the answer already and would tell you right away’.

Maybe I may have to separate the two since human deception may like to rank pornography as the worst from simply masturbating. Yet, we Christians know that there is no such thing a small, better, or ignorable sin in our religion and that the smallest of sins such as stealing just one minute from your employer’s time makes you a thief.

When God speaks His Word all else obeys. Nothing can negotiate when God sends His instruction. Mind you, He never consults when He wants to do something. Whenever He says do something, just do it because He is God in control – all things to Him happen.

We all know God’s instructions are comprised in this one command; “Do not Sin” for sin is the dare of His justice. However, God does speak a Word that will make you better; He can say ‘be healed’, ‘be rich in wisdom’, ‘be wealthy’, ‘be promoted’, ‘be satisfied’, be delivered’, ‘be clean’ and many good things He can say to your situation. We, as humans, must know that nothing just happens. Our God is in full control of everything.

It’s amazing how quick and easy it is for holiness advocates to see the speck of sawdust in their brothers’ eyes when they themselves have the same or worse in their eyes. I know this from myself. I battle each day with the tendency of seeing all other people worse of sinners than me. I tell you what I see them to be doing:

1. They rob the employers of paid for time, yet I often come late to work.
2. Unfaithful to their wives, yet I sometimes find myself watching a nudity or sex scene on TV and not tell my wife.
3. I see them practicing nepotism at work, yet I know I also don’t share the same love / affection for all colleagues.
4. I see them knock off early at work, yet I sometimes sneak out to talk to my wife during working hours.
5. I see them embezzle company funds, yet I sometime make personal call from a company phone.
6. I see them worshiping other Gods, yet I often get to the doctor before even praying about a child’s sickness.
7. I see them owing others, yet I often fail on church offering.
8. I see them failing to respect subordinates, yet I never tolerate drunkards talking on my face
9. They gossip, yet I sit down and to the listen the gossip.
10.  They are selfish, yet when I see a bagger I give him the least from my wallet coins or nothing at all.
11. They disobey the call to Christianity, yet I often go against the will of the Holy Spirit in my life.

Defining death is not necessary because anyone that can read these words know what death is. Amazingly, the statistics on death is known, 120 people die each minute, 150 die each day and 53.8 million dies each year. This tells us that you and me are on the line somehow and this is definite. I got this statistics from the ‘Our Daily Manna devotional booklet’. I’m sure you agree with me that these statistics are a revelation to the fact that there are more people that are death than those that live today.

The big question is whether you are ready to meet your God or not when your time comes. If you are ready, it means you are living a holy life because none will see the Lord if they don’t live up to that standard (Hebrews 12:14). If you have taken trouble enough to read the Bible, you will know that it’s pointless for your pursuing sinful pleasures hoping to repent on your last day or dying bed because the Bible says ‘God cannot be mocked’.

Christians should be known by their conduct first at home, family and community. People should know that Christians are Christ worshipers and God’s secrete holders. Christian conduct must be known to all man and the rightful conduct starts at home from where he / she live most of the time.

Sadly, nowadays Christians think that Christian conduct is good enough outside the home or family. They want to live the Christ like life at work or in church other than at home. There is therefore a need for Christian conduct to start from home because church begins at home. The home should be a nursery for both the church and the community. Before you can belong to a church, you first belong to a family or home.

I’m not sure how true it is that Africa is thought to be the most poor continent. This could be true, but I differ in that Africans have the potential to lead the world. I believe that there is not much to do to achieve the leading role as Africans. The only qualities that we need are vigilance, commitment, tactfulness and faith.

The qualities I listed define the strength of the economy of China, USA, UK, etc. This i have observed on several publications, media reports and right here online. I believe we can, because we can!!!
