The ultimate solution to prostitution

Prostitution or call it what you like, is a problem that has prevailed in our society for time immemorial. It is a cancer to our woman and man alike. It has devalued the precious gift of sex which God gave to mankind to enjoy within the confines of marriage. Looking at how the level of prostitution has grown, it would seem like there is no solution to it.

People that practice prostitution are not just those that do so publicly but there are lot more doing it privately. Remember the woman that met Jesus by the well whom He prophesied to be living with a man belonging to another woman, the woman commonly known as the ‘Samaritan woman’ (John 4:3 -42). The Bible does not reveal what the woman benefited from having an affair with five men but it can be assumed basic provisions could be the reason for such a practice.

Holiness advocate on contradicting and confusing Holy Bible verses

Good News BibleI watched a number of videos where Muslim leaders pick contradicting, humanly rated ungodly declarations, confusing and supposedly unfair expectations / commandments in the Holy Bible. These issues are raised with the aim of discrediting Christianity and the Holy Bible with the intention to promote the Quran and Islam. This also aims at making Christ followers shameful of who they believe in.

I want to assure readers of this blog that Christians are called never to be ashamed of the Gospel, because of the power it is to us (Romans 1:16). Our Christianity works for us and has proven to be real in countless accounts. Such accounts are even recorded in the Bible. Muslims also do not dispute the works of Christ and gladly accept Christianity. However, accepting Christianity does not make the Quran the true Word of God.

Forever shall they be in the lake of fire – Revelation 20:10, 14:11

EternityForever is a word that should not be taken lightly because it’s meaning has consequences that no man can change. Once it is written in the Bible as a warning, it should be taken seriously because it shall come to pass. I once asked a pastor as to why should it be difficult for people to understand this simple and straight forward message that there is life after death and that either one goes to Heaven or to Hell. The condition is one; if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ you go to heaven and if not, you are damned to hell forever. This pastor said, ‘the devil is a work to lengthen the time of stubbornness to those that get to hear the message of salvation’ and please do not be a victim of the devil (2 Corinthians 4:4).

The Bible reveals God as one who does not tolerate sin even by chance. We may acknowledge that He overlooked times of ignorance yet now He is calling everyone to repentance (Acts 17:30). He never compromises His commandments for anyone. He shows no favoritism as He is a just God. His Word never changes (Psalm 119:89).

What God says about the sugar daddy and sugar mama situation in South Africa and the World

RichLiving life as it pleases to one is most desirable but there are rules and the law that all people must observe no matter their status. Rules above every rule that every person should work at observing are those put by God the creator. Failing to observe Gog’s commandments is sin and sin is voluntarily going against God’s will. Sin is defined as a practice that leads to death (Romans 6:23) and the Bible defines death not only as physical death but also damnation to eternal hell fire. This is the second death as defined by the book of Revelation 21:8; “The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

Before I loose many readers, at this point I need to move on to the next section. My point is on the increasing promiscous behavior of people engaging in sexual activities for financial gain in a very informal manner. In this case, this is between people of a huge age gab where one person abuses the other for selfish gain while not realising that they themselves are being abused. This is the ‘sugar mama’ and ‘sugar daddy’ sagga.

Muslim quotes Luke 19:27 to ridicule Christianity, you’ll be shocked how Satan works

YouTube logoYou may have seen the video by Halal Sheikh in YouTube (link) where the Muslim quotes Luke 19:27 as a verse that makes Jesus a bad person. This Muslim preacher was lucky to face a Christian who could not remember quickly that this verse is the last but one verse to complete a parable Jesus was telling His disciples.

If you go quickly to your Bible where Jesus’ words are written in red, you will not doubt that these words were uttered by Jesus. However, it would seem that opponents of Christianity don’t want to accept that Jesus had to speak about reality issues, things that were happening and were to happen in the future. I also note that Jesus is not called a prophet even though He prophesied many things that that come to pass in various generations. On the other hand, Muhammed is called a prophet, yet there is no prophecy that is known to the world that the world awaits to see manifested.

What have you done about the message of the Cross?

Good News BibleIn this post I just want to bring it to your attention that the message of the Cross, that is, the message of Jesus Christ is calling all that hear it to action. In this post I shall use the two interchangeably. I do not know your position with Christ but whatever the position, you are called to action. What have you done or what are you doing about it?

Why do Christians always say time is limited?

TIMEI once shared the Gospel to my colleague at work and mentioned the phrase, ‘you have to make a decision quickly because time is limited’. He was so annoyed by that phrase and said, ‘you Christians use that phrase to put pressure on people. It is your mode of operation and I don’t like it!’ I thought about it later and realised that I was truly telling the truth to my colleague, the issue of repentance needs immediate action.

Christians are called to keep their righteousness garment clean (Revelation 16:15) from worldliness and sin while non-Christians are to repent from their wicked ways (Matthew 3:2). I will tackle each group separately.

The urgency to preach to Jehovah’s Witnesses

Jehovah's Witnessess Need the True GospelIn this post I want to raise a concern that I have seen with Christians. Christians take no interest in preaching to the ready souls on the streets that are wasting time in a wrong cult, the Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW). JWs will never deny you, or let me say they have never denied me, the chance to preach or engage with them. In the olden days, they used to go door-to-door and I believe they still do in some parts of the world today.

Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW) call themselves Christians but they are not in many respects. Some of the things that make them false Christians include the following:

God is not like man in thought and in deed

Thinking about smallI have seen that some Muslims and Jehovah’s Witnesses that they don’t understand that God is not human. They make a mistake of taking God to the human mind level and try to reason what He says in human terms.

Muslims questions the Bible a lot, in different ways and they are able to quote the Bible to suite their argument. I have seen this on youtube.com a lot. One time I tried to speak to one Muslim that runs a shop around the corner in town, trying to introduce Jesus to him, but he just couldn’t let me.

The solution is an encounter with Jesus Christ for Muslims

Beautiful Muslim Woman from MalaysiaIslam religion is newer than Christianity, I’m sure no one disputes that. We are told Islam came about through a vision shown to the prophet Muhammed. Thus the prophet Muhammed is understood to be the latter prophet from Allah (not God as defined by Christians). It means that the prophet Muhammed is the top model for how the best Muslim should live his or her life, similarly Jesus Christ is a model for the Christian.

I have read and listened to videos that tell the life of the prophet Muhammed. I have also learnt about the life of Jesus Christ. I will not go much into these about the prophet Muhammed because I still have to learn more about him but I will tell a few about the Jesus Christ I know as a Christian.

Where do Christians go and what happens when they die? – Part 2

Sleep Like A Baby

I wanted to follow up on the discussion I had with a Jehovah’s Witness who referenced Ecclesiastes 9:5, claiming that when we die we fall asleep until the time when Jesus shall return. You may want to start with Part 1 of the same post.

5 things to know when you engage in a discussion with a Muslim

Debate 10.4.12Whether in public or private, to a group or one-on-one, you may be expected to talk about your Christianity to a Muslim or a non-Christian. Allow me to share some thoughts.

I hope this post will not be misinterpreted for anything else but the reality that Christians have no power to convince anyone but Christ Himself through them. Muslims (and everybody else) are our brothers and we are called to preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to them.

The Biblical definition of a fool – Good Friday Eve Sermon

BibleI cannot agree enough with Zac Poonen who says that worldly standards differ in a directly opposite manner from what the Bible teaches.  God expects a directly different behaviour from what the flesh desires. The world defines a fool as a person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person.

The problem with worldly definitions is that one person can be labelled a fool by others while others call him or her wise. It depends a lot on who is talking, the relationship with the person assumed to be a fool, the environment as well as possible hidden intentions for the declaration.

Talking to a Jehovah’s witness about death and sleeping (interesting discussion)

Jehovah Witness

I have always wondered what really makes Jehovah’s witness differ from Christians when so many things are said about them. Sometimes when you check with some Jehova’s witness about these things they deny them. This time I had some quality time with one of them and got to know a few things about their beliefs. I thought this should go into record and the sooner I write about it before I forget the details, the better.

Apple Worker Abuse in China is Biblically wrong

Apple abusing employeesReported by BBC on 18th December 2014, China Labor Watch, has alleged that three factories of Pegatron violate a “great number of international and Chinese laws and standards”. The article ‘Apple Faces new China worker abuse claims‘ give details on the matter.

I watched the report on television and felt bad about the love for money (1 Timothy 6:10) that has forced many companies to abuse people. Worse still, some people allow themselves to be abused for the love of money. Biblically, breaking country rules of any type is wrong. In this case the case is on underage labour, contract violations, poor working conditions and excessive working hours. It was surely a sorry site. I suspect there are a lot more manufacturers that do the same in-humane practices. Its just that this time it came up for Apple.
