While we wait for the time to start doing the things God has called us to do in the world, so much damage goes on to mankind. God has called each and every one of us, particularly those that have seen the light of Christ, to several assignments. A few of these are witnessing about the power of God manifested in Jesus Christ, calling people to salvation through Jesus Christ, offering and works of charity, preaching, etc. Jesus wants all people to be safe from God’s wrath for those that are disobedient to His will.
Forbidden Tendency for Christians
The tendency is for us who are under the light of Christianity not to maximise opportunities for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. We often have reasons like; I’m still pursuing my academic interests and after such and such a time I’ll be ready to start, I’m awaiting a miracle that will give me confidence for my testimony, I’m still raising my kids, the church has not given me the tools to do the work, I’m nursing my sickness, I’m poor, etc.
I want to believe that the practice of having excuses is forbidden by Jesus Christ because of the following damage made to mankind.
The damage to Mankind
While we wait, the following are notably going on without any form of stagnation:
- Satan’s army continues to raise the standard, knowing that their time is short.
- People are dying without knowing Christ and all those are wasted away in hell.
- People suffer the discomfort of living with unreasonable people because people without Christ are troublesome in various sorts.
God needs you to join the active army that raises the standard against the enemy. God can only use willing hearts. However, it has been revealed by Mary X. Baxter that when in hell, people recall all moments they had time to repent and share the Gospel to others and that in itself become severe regrets.
According to Mathew 10:7, Jesus Christ is calling up for all people that call themselves Christians to come out and boldly tell the Good News. I’m one person that also repents for postponing the call to set up this website. I’m clear that it is not my job to convince people to take up the assignment or even accept Christ but the Holy Spirit’s. I therefore take it up to this level and you and your God will take it further.
I pray that you take up the assignment, which is a commandment, and do your part in growing the body of Christ. Amen!
